Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council’s planners are currently considering an application that, if approved, will see 40 new homes built in Banbridge.
Lodged by agent McAdam Stewart Architects on behalf of applicant Dunmore Construction the application seeks permission to build a housing development of 40, two-storey residential units at lands to the north and immediately adjacent to 1-35 Glencar Meadows, Banbridge.
The houses will be a mix of detached and semi-detached properties and permission is also sought to build detached garages and an associated road and site network.
According to the application form, the 1.9 hectare site is currently in use as agricultural land.
Lodged and validated on Friday, October 21, the application will be advertised until Friday, December 2.
