Corrosive liquid has been poured over two cars in Newry sometime overnight (Friday/Saturday).
Police said an Audi parked in the Iveagh Crescent area and a Mercedes parked in the Violet Hill Avenue were targeted.
The paint on both vehicles was damaged.
A spokesperson for the PSNI said: “Police would ask anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area or who has any information to contact them on 0845 600 8000.”
