An ‘out of this world’ experience will blast off on St Valentine’s Day with the launch of £1 million golfing themed adventure park like no other!
Captain Green’s Space Adventure Golf centre is due to open at the Marlborough Retail Park in Craigavon, and will see the creation of 15 full and part-time jobs.
It will join the Air-tastic trampoline park in bringing something a lot different to the good folk of Co Armagh!
Armagh I first revealed plans for the new state-of-the-art development last August and subsequent planning approval for the exciting facility.
The golf themed adventure park relates to unit three, for which permission had previously been given for ‘food retail’ purposes.
A proposal was submitted in August for a change of use for the ground floor retail unit and provision of a first floor mezzanine level for leisure use.
The new development will stretch to over 1,500 sq metres and the intended operator is ‘Capital Green Indoor Golf’.
The space themed indoor adventure golf centre will include two full 18-hole themed courses – ‘Mission to the Moon’ and ‘Escape from Mars’.
There will also be three birthday party rooms and miniature golf.
And not just that, but it incorporates a licensed restaurant on site too!
The operators of the new facility are describing it as “intergalactic fun for family, nights out with friends and team building events”.
It is being aimed at all ages regardless of experience and the emphasis is on fun and something entirely different!
There are already plans in place to roll out the Captain Green’s brand to other cities north and south, including Belfast, Dublin, Derry/Londonderry, Cork, Limerick and Galway.
