The Entertainer – one of the UK’s biggest toy shop chains – is set to open its brand-new Rushmere store in Craigavon this weekend.
Opening its doors on Saturday, October 24, the new 3,000 sq ft store will offer Rushmere shoppers an extensive range of toys, games and collectibles, from much-loved family favourites to the latest trending toys.
To mark the opening, families visiting Rushmere this weekend can enjoy a range of activities, including face painting, an all-day spin to win for purchases over £25 and special appearances from much-loved PAW Patrol characters, who will be available for photos with young fans between 11am and 3pm.
Adding to the excitement, The Entertainer will also host one of its famous trolley dashes, giving two lucky winners the chance to race around the new store and fill their trolley with gifts.
Arriving just in time for the Christmas shopping season, the new store will be packed with toys and games for all ages, from LEGO and Pokémon to the hugely popular KPop Demon
Hunters and squishy dumplings. Shoppers will also be able to explore ranges exclusive to The Entertainer, including Meccano, Early Learning Centre and the viral Yummy Buddies collection.
The Rushmere opening marks The Entertainer’s 10th new store in the last 12 months, as the retailer continues to expand its presence across the UK, with recent openings also taking place in Cardiff and Manchester.
Andrew Murphy OBE, Group Chief Executive Officer of The Entertainer, said: “We’re incredibly excited to be opening our new store at Rushmere Shopping Centre and bringing The Entertainer experience to even more families in Northern Ireland.
“With Christmas just around the corner, we know families will be starting to think about their festive shopping and we can’t wait to welcome Rushmere shoppers through our doors to explore everything our new store has to offer.
“We’ve got plenty of fun planned for opening weekend, and we’re looking forward to celebrating with the local community as we mark this exciting new chapter for The Entertainer.”
