Armed police have surrounded a GP Out of Hours surgery in Craigavon this morning (Wednesday).
Firefighters are also in attendance at the building on the Lurgan ROad in Portadown, next to Craigavon Area Hospital.
The stand-off began around 10am this morning, however, it remains unclear at this early stage as to what prompted the emergency response.
A Southern Trust spokesperson said: “There is an incident ongoing on the Craigavon Area Hospital site. Traffic restrictions are in place. Emergency services are at the scene. We will keep you updated.”
One eye-witness told Armagh I that police, along with firefighters, have surrounded the building but it remains unclear if any of them are inside.
