Nuno Miguel Afonso, of Garvaghy Park, was convicted in his absence of possession of a Class B drug at Craigavon Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
It was heard that on February 6, during a search of the defendant’s home, approximately three grams of cannabis resin were located in the master bedroom.
Prosecution informed the court that the value of the drugs was around £15.
In a notebook interview with police, Afonso made full admissions to possession of the substance.
Observing the defendant’s non-appearance, District Judge Bernie Kelly stated that a conviction would be recorded and an arrest warrant issued for Afonso.
