Burglars ransacked a house in Craigavon and stole a substantial sum of money while the owner was out today.
Police are appealing for witnesses and information following the report of the burglary at a property in the Aldervale area.
It was reported that the victim had left their home at approximately 7am this morning, Monday, July 19.
Upon their return around 9.40am they discovered that the living area of the property had been ransacked and a substantial amount of money taken.
Inspector Scott said: “We are appealing for anyone with information who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area or have information about this incident to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 539 19/0721.
“Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
