A Craigavon man accused of attempted murder will face Crown Court proceedings next month.
Matthew McNally, of Drumgor Heights, is also accused of inflicting grievous bodily harm on the same victim, as well as another man.
He is further charged with stealing a phone, a black e-cigarette and damaging a Ford Fiesta.
The 29-year-old appeared at Craigavon Magistrates’ Court on Friday for the purposes of a preliminary enquiry (PE), the legal process during which a case is referred to the higher court.
As the charges were read, court heard that all offences were alleged to have occurred on May 31 of last year.
McNally, appearing in the dock, made no objection to the holding of a preliminary enquiry.
Prosecution submitted that based on the papers before the court there was a prima facie case to answer.
Defence counsel Michael Tierney made no contrary submissions.
District Judge Greg McCourt, satisfied there was a prima facie case to answer, released the defendants on bail of £500 to appear in Craigavon Crown Court on May 19.
