A Craigavon man has pleaded guilty to a litany of child sex offences including sexual communication with a minor.
Joshua Boyle, of Carnreagh, admitted 17 offences including 13 counts of possessing an indecent image of a child, two counts of sexual communication with a child, one count of making an indecent image of a child and one count of distributing an indecent image of a child.
The 21-year-old, who appeared before Craigavon Crown Court on Tuesday, committed the offences on dates between December 2, 2020 and March 26, 2021.
Boyle pleaded not guilty to a single count of unlawfully threatening another person to take part in an act, namely engage in a further sexualised video call which prosecution counsel Joseph Murphy admitted was the “only contentious” issue on the charge sheet.
Defence barrister David McKeown contended that a consultation with prosecution and the investigating officer may advance that particular issue prior to sentencing.
The case was adjourned until Friday, May 19 as a result.
Boyle was bailed in the interim.
