Police in Lurgan have arrested five people on suspicion of theft after recovering a large number of stolen items valued at approximately £500.
Officers from the Lurgan Local Policing Team were supported by the Emerald Tactical Support Group in recovering the items on Wednesday evening (January 14).
A report was received from a Craigavon retailer that a number of individuals had stolen a large number of items, valued at approximately £500, before making off in a vehicle.
Among items taken were washing liquids, a baby bath and bottle steriliser, pyjamas and miscellaneous clothing items.
Soon after, the vehicle was spotted and stopped by another crew in Tandragee.
The stolen goods were recovered and all five occupants were arrested on suspicion of theft.
