A former restaurant along the main Glenavy Road, en route to Belfast International Airport, could soon be brought back into productive use.
The building, sitting beside a local Spar store and filling station on the outskirts of Moira, has previously been home to an Italian restaurant.
And Italian will not be far away from the rebirth if proposals lodged with Lisburn Council this week are served up approval.
For Domino’s Pizza is planning to take over the venue for their latest Northern Ireland opening.
The actual address is at 1A Glenavy Road.
The brown glazed property has previously been a popular port of call for travellers making their way to the airport or a stop on the way home from their sun-filled break.
The application is seeking approval for a fit-out of the premises and change of use from restaurant to hot food takeaway and restaurant.
The new development would create a number of new jobs in the area if it is approved.
The application will now be advertised shortly.
