A 24-hour walking challenge to raise money for the Cancer Fund for Children kicked off at Craigavon Lakes on Saturday.
Hundreds took – and are taking part – in the Hiking for Little Heroes event which began at 11am and continues into Sunday morning.
The walk was the idea of Banbridge man David Watson, whose son Adam was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia in October 2019 at the age of seven, and who has set up the charity B Positive.
Sadly, Adam passed away this week. However, the family said the “must go on”.
Check out a few pictures as the event began on Saturday morning.
