A man accused of breaking a window at Craigavon Area Hospital has been warned that he could go to prison if convicted.
Stephen Ian Williamson appeared before Craigavon Magistrates’ Court charged with a number of offences after alleged incidents at the hospital last month.
The 23-year-old is accused of criminal damage, as well as being disorderly and resisting a police constable at the hospital.
Williamson, of Old Bleach Green Banbridge, confirmed that he was aware of the three charges against him.
A police officer told the court he believed he could connect accused to the charges.
A defending solicitor sought a two-week adjournment to allow an application to be made for legal aid.
Williamson was freed on bail and is due to appear back in court on October 7.
He was told by District Judge Bernie Kelly that, if convicted of the charges, his “liberty is in serious jeopardy”.
“You don’t behave like that in a hospital,” she added.
