Cruel thieves stole from a man who was spending his final moments with his dying father in hospital this week.
As the man sat with his father at Craigavon Area Hospital on Tuesday, his van was being ransacked in the car park just outside.
PSNI Chief Inspector Jon Burrows highlighted the crime “an example of the impact of crime and the selfishness of criminals”.
Posting on Twitter, the Chief inspector said: “An example of the impact of crime and the selfishness of criminals.
“A man spending his very final moments with his father in Craigavon Area Hospital on Tuesday returned to the car park to find thieves had stolen his trade tools from his van.
“Report any suspicious activity to us.”
