A Waringstown man who is accused of being concerned in the supply of cannabis will face Crown Court proceedings in the New Year.
The 20-year-old is also alleged to have been found in possession of both cannabis resin and pregabalin on October 1, 2019.
Sam Magwood, of Mossview, appeared charged with supplying Class B, being concerned in the supply of Class B, possession of Class B and possession of Class C at Craigavon Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
As the charges were read, it was heard that between December 28, 2018, and September 26, 2019, the defendant is alleged to have supplied and have been concerned in the supply of cannabis.
Magwood is also accused of having been in possession of cannabis resin and pregabalin on October 1, 2019.
Appearing via videolink from Hydebank, the defendant made no objection to the holding of a preliminary enquiry.
Prosecution submitted that based on the papers before the court there was a prima facie case to answer.
Defence barrister Barry McKenna made no contrary submissions.
District Judge Steven Keown said that he was satisfied there was a prima facie case to answer.
Magwood was remanded in custody to appear before Craigavon Crown Court on January 19 for arraignment.
