A new Asian food restaurant is set to open its doors at Rushmere Shopping Centre in Craigavon this May.
Eatao Asian Fusion Restaurant is a branch of K11, a buffet restaurant on the Dobbin Road, outside Portadown.
The owners, who have more than 20 years of restaurant management experience, have been planning Eatao for the past six months and renovation work is currently ongoing.
They said: “The purpose of our fast food restaurant is to let customers eat healthy and fast Asian food, which combines a variety of Asian food elements, Chinese food, Japanese food and some Asian dishes, Asian drinks and snacks.
“Most of our dishes will be displayed and the kitchen is an open kitchen so guests can see the cooking process.”
The restaurant will offer three different sizes of takeaways, allowing customers to mix and match, and the takeaway boxes will be environmentally friendly.
The news of the opening is the latest boost for Rushmere.
Just last month, it was confirmed that Primark will open in the centre later this year, having taken over the vacant Debenhams unit.
A spokesperson for Rushmere said they are also currently in discussion with a number of parties about the empty Sainsbury’s unit following enquiries.
The statement added: “We are also reviewing potential redevelopment opportunities. Following the recent announcement Primark is to open an anchor store at Rushmere later this year, the centre is in demand among brands and consumers alike.”
