Athletes, fun runners and active families are being urged to lace up their running shoes and register for the annual Craigavon Lakes 10K race, 5K run or 1K fun run taking place on Wednesday, June 7!
Organised by Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council, and sponsored and supported by Tesco, McKeever Sports and St Peter’s Athletic Club, this is an event that the whole family can enjoy – whether you are a competitive spirit or not!
The family 1K fun run will kick off the action at 6.45pm, followed by the wheelchair friendly 10K at 6.58pm, the 5K run at 7pm and the 10K run at 7.10pm.
“This event is a highlight in our sporting calendar, attracting hundreds of people from all walks of life,” commented the Lord Mayor, Councillor Paul Greenfield.
“It’s a great way for friends and family to take part in the same event – some for fun and others for competition! So don’t miss out and get signed up to the race that suits you and enjoy a great evening outdoors with family and friends!”

Entry fees are £15 for the 10K/wheelchair friendly 10K race; £10 for the 5K run; £3.50 for the 1K. For those chasing a personal best, chip timing will be provided for the 10K and 5K runs.
The closing date for applications is Monday, June 5 at 7pm. Please note that there will be no registration available on the day of the event.
