Police are investigating after a report of a suspicious man in the South Lake area of Craigavon earlier today (Monday).
Officers received the report at around 12.30pm on Monday, July 13.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “Police received a report of a suspicious man in the South Lakes area of Craigavon at approximately 12.30pm today.
“Officers attended and searched the area, however no one was detected.”
Enquiries are ongoing and police have appealed for witnesses or anyone who may have noticed suspicious activity in the area to come forward.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 842 of 13/07/26.
One woman, posting on social media following the incident, claimed she had been out walking around the lakes when she observed “a grown man hiding in the bushes masturbating to people and children walking past”, close to the bridge passover near Silverwood Industrial Estate.
She urged others to “please be vigilant if out at the lakes today, especially if alone or with children”.
