Craigavon Court

An off-duty police officer spotted a motorist driving in Maghaberry village and it was established he was a disqualified driver who was uninsured.

Matthew James Walker (26), whose address was given as no fixed abode, was detected on June 8 this year.

At Craigavon Magistrates’ Court the defendant was given a four months prison term, suspended for 18 months. He was also banned from driving for two years.

District Judge Michael Ranaghan said: “This man is a repeat offender for driving matters and he needs to be kept off the road.’
