Emergency services are currently dealing with a serious crash on the M1 this morning (Wednesday).
The collision occurred between the Lurgan and Moira junctions around 7am.
There are long tailbacks in the area and motorists are strongly advised to avoid the M1 for the rest of the morning.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “Due to a serious road traffic collision the M1 has been closed in both directions between Junction 9 Moira and Junction 10 Lough Road.
“The road is expected to be closed for some time and motorists should seek alternative routes.”
There are no further details at this stage.
