This October, GetActiveABC invites everyone aged 50 and over to join us in celebrating Positive Ageing Month — a time to get moving, try something new, and connect with others in your community!

From relaxing Tai Chi sessions and energising dance classes, to fun-filled games like walking football, table tennis, and boccia, there’s something for every interest and ability.

Whether you prefer a peaceful guided walk, a scenic community bike ride, or a little friendly competition, our wide range of events and activities will help you stay active and inspired all month long.

This year’s theme, “Move More to Live More,” is all about embracing movement as the key to a healthier, more fulfilling life — no matter your age.

There are so many positive benefits to getting involved – it helps you stay fit, boosts your wellbeing, introduces you to new hobbies and pastimes, helps you meet like-minded people and make new friends!

Those aged 60 years and over can enjoy generous concessionary rates on leisure membership packages and also avail of discounted swim sessions at South Lake Leisure Centre, Orchard Leisure Centre and Banbridge Leisure Centre.

The weekly over 50’s clubs are part of the membership package and a great way to try out new activities and make new connections.
