This is one of ‘dens’ being used by youths over the weekend in the Craigavon area of Co Armagh.
SDLP Councillor Declan McAlinden captured this footage on his phone on Monday evening, which highlights the mess left behind from the weekend’s activities.
The video shows a burnt out scrambler bike left strewn along a footpath, a mere hundred yards from the primary school in the Tullygally area.
As he walks in among the trees, a number of chairs have been placed among bottles and other paraphernalia – remnants of another weekend binge session.
Councillor McAlinden told Armagh I that the mess “disgusting” and that he’d be getting Council and the Education Authority to clean it up and look at ways of safe-guarding the site in future.
