A griup of youths were spotted running from a house in Craigavon moments after it was petrol bombed.
Detectives in Lurgan are appealing for information following the report of a petrol bomb attack on a house in the Lakelands area of Craigavon last night (Thursday).
Shortly before 11.30pm a petrol bomb was thrown through the front window of the house, causing substantial damage to the property and minor injuries to one of the occupants inside.
A group of three to four youths were then seen running away from the scene.
Detective Inspector Stephen Harvey said: “This was an extremely reckless attack and it is fortunate that the injuries were not considerably worse.
“I would appeal to anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area or anyone who has information about this incident to contact Detectives at Lurgan on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 1249 23/03/17.
“Alternatively, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
