Police in south Armagh are reminding young people that Covid-19 is “not a game” after further reports of people gathering in the centre of Crossmaglen.
Police said they spoke to young drivers and had to explain about social distancing to them on Monday night.
They issued a fresh warning via social media.
A spokesperson said: “Parking in Cardinal O Fiaich Square with your friends, to eat chips, in their vehicles, for a chat, is not social distancing.
“It is completely reckless and irresponsible behaviour and you are endangering everyone you meet.
“Officers would appeal to these young drivers and their parents to ask themselves before they leave the house in their car, is their journey really necessary.”
Police said they would continue to patrol the area and urged: “Stay at Home, Save Lives, Protect the NHS. This is not a Game.”
And to anyone who feels social distancing – or lack of – in their area is an issue is asked to contact them on the non -emergency number 101.
