Detectives in Lurgan are appealing for information following an aggravated burglary that occurred on the evening of Thursday 3 April in the Dollingstown area.
At approximately 9.45pm, an elderly man returned home along with a male relative and found that there were three males in his house. There was an altercation and the relative was threatened with a screwdriver by one of the three men before they made off in a black car.
The two elderly men were not injured in the incident.
One of the three males is described as being approximately 6ft tall with a round face. The other two men are described as being smaller, slimmer and both aged in their 20s.
Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to contact CID in Lurgan Police Station on the new non emergency number 101. Meanwhile, detectives in Lurgan are also appealing for information following a burglary at commercial premises in the Main Street area of Donaghcloney in the early hours of this morning, Friday, 4 April.
At approximately 2.50am Police received a report that premises had been broken into. It is not known at this stage if anything has been stolen.
Detectives are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area and who may have witnessed any suspicious activity. Anyone with information should contact the new non-emergency number 101.
