A man has been arrested in Co. Tyrone after a video showing a young boy driving along the M1 in a lorry was shared online.
The 37-year-old was arrested in the Cookstown area earlier today (Friday).
A PSNI spokesperson commented: “Officers, investigating an incident in which a video was shared online of a young boy driving a lorry, have arrested a 37-year-old man in the Cookstown area on suspicion of a number of offences including aiding and abetting driving whilst disqualified by reason of age and cruelty to children.”
The man is currently in custody assisting officers with their enquiries.
The video shows the lorry travelling along the M1 in the Dungannon area.
There are no further details at this stage.
