Armagh Council is once again going to pick up the bill for festive shoppers’ parking in the run-up to Christmas.
Over the next three Saturdays, you can make the most of all Armagh has to offer by parking free of charge in any one of four DRD Roads Service operated ‘pay and display’ car parks.
Lord Mayor of Armagh Cathy Rafferty has welcomed the initiative.
“Christmas is one of the most important and busiest times for both shoppers and businesses,” she said.
“It is hoped this free parking initiative will encourage trade in our City and generate a welcome boost to traders.”
There will be free parking in all city facilities, which are usually pay and display, on December 6, 13 and 20.
And that also includes the Shambles Yard.
Meanwhile, there will also be free parking available for Christmas shoppers in Portadown this Saturday, December 6, as part of an initiative known as ‘Small Business Saturday’.
