Keady is in line for another environmental improvements scheme.
And this time it will centre around the Cow Fair and adjacent to Victoria Street.
The work will follow on from a well-received scheme around the main centre of the town.
It has transformed the heart of Keady and a shop frontage scheme has also made a huge difference.
The latest improvements will include pavements owned by the Department for Infrastructure and privately owned, where land adjacent to Victoria Street provides an entrance into Rice’s Supermarket.
It is intended to introduce new quality pavements in keeping with the rest of the new-look town centre.
Pedestrian crossing points will also be upgraded.
And the scheme will see the introduction of new and stylish street furniture too.
A planning application for the latest environmental improvements scheme has been drawn up by Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council.
It is due to be publicly advertised next week.
The council is also about to embark on the second phase of the Keady Glen project in the weeks ahead, the latest scheme to benefit the south Armagh town.
