Loughgall Football Club appear set to push forward with further plans to improve their Lakeview Park grounds.
The club submitted plans for a new 300 seater home stand, 200 seater away stand, new home turnstiles, away turnstiles, toilets and change of surface to football pitch from grass to 3G in April 2022.
And they have now submitted additional proposals for the consideration of Armagh City, Banbridge & Craigavon Borough Council.

Latest proposals seek approval for a prefabricated changing unit, kitchen/servery, wash closet, plant room, covered seated spectators area, fencing, retaining wall and associated site works – all of which would be to the benefit of players and spectators alike.
The lands for development at 37 Ballygasey Road are described as vacant, forming part of the “overall existing 3G training complex”.
The plans submitted by Sam Nicholson, of DA Architects, on behalf of the applicant David Johnstone of Loughgall Football Club, propose “to improve the players and spectators accommodation within the complex”.
The architect and former Ulster Unionist councillor is the chairman of Loughgall FC.
The club’s previous plans for proposed alterations to the existing football stadium are marked as being under consideration by council planners as of December 20, 2023.
The new proposals are due to be advertised in June.
