Two men appeared at a special sitting of court in Lisburn on Monday morning charged with the murder of Malcolm McKeown in Waringstown last week.
Jake O’Brien, 25, from Rectory Park in Lurgan, and Andrew Martin, 24, from Trasna Way, Lurgan, appeared in the dock at Lisburn Magistrates’ Court.
Both men deny the charge.
The 54-year-old victim was found dead in his car behind a service station in Waringstown after been shot six times in the head and body last Monday.
A detective said she could connect the pair to the charges given the evidence already gathered in the case.
District judge Rosemary Watters remanded the accused in custody to re-appear via video link at Craigavon courthouse on September 20.
The funeral of the father-of-three, who had been out on bail on aggravated burglary charges, took place at Emmanuel Church Lurgan on Saturday followed by interment in Kernan Cemetery.
