A man arrested after a one-vehicle crash in Markethill on Tuesday morning has been released on police bail.
Shortly before 6am, Officers attended the scene of the collision on the Tannaghmore Road, together with colleagues from Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service.
The man, who is in his 40s, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a Class C drug, driving while unfit through drink or drugs, failing to remain where an accident occurred causing damage, and failing to report where an accident occurred causing damage.
There were no reports of any injuries.
A police spokesperson, this morning (Wednesday), said: “A 40 year old man, arrested following a road traffic collision at Tannaghmore Road, Markethill, on Tuesday, has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.”
