A Markethill man has appeared at court accused of damaging 15 parked cars whilst making his way home in a “drunken state”.
Nathan Ross, 27, of Mowhan Court, appeared charged with 15 counts of criminal damage at Armagh Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
A constable told the court she believed she could connect accused with the charges, with prosecution asking for an eight-week adjournment for a full file.
District Judge Paul Copeland stated that he was “worried” about the length of the adjournment and asked for a brief outline of the incident.
A defence solicitor said the charges were all in relation to parked cars.
He said it had been alleged that on his way home, in a “drunken state”, his client had damaged these cars.
The case was adjourned until February 12, when an update on the progress of a file will be given.
Ross was released on his own bail of £500 and ordered to sign at Armagh police station once a week.
