There are plans in the pipeline for a new development of bungalows in Markethill.
An application for the new homes – in the name of Belfast-based Gosford Park Properties Ltd – has been submitted to Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council for consideration.
In all, 10 bungalows would be built, at a cost estimated in excess of £900,000, according to Construction Information Services.
The site in question – currently described as “agricultural” land – is to the south of Willowdean.
Each of the new bungalows would benefit from the inclusion of a detached garage.
The application also includes site works, as well as road widening and the provision of a temporary treatment works for sewerage.
The proposal is due to be advertised next week.
