One person was taken to hospital following a collision on the A1, close to Newry, on Tuesday evening.
A woman was arrested on suspicion of drink driving after blowing more than three times the legal limit.
Emergency services were tasked to the scene of the RTC between the Forkhill Road junction and the Bernish turn-off shortly after 7.45pm.
An NI Ambulance Service spokesperson said one person was taken to Daisy Hill Hospital by ambulance.
A police spokesperson, sharing the images, said: “This is what drink driving causes. Not only did the driver blow three times over the legal limit for alcohol in breath, they also had no driving licence or insurance.
“The driver was able to escape the vehicle and run and hide in a field. But this was not good enough for local police who were able to spot her. A court date will await in due course. Never ever drink and drive.”
