Meanwhile, police on social media shared an image of a cannabis factory discovered by police in Newry on Friday evening.
It read: “Police rom D-District’s District Support Team were conducting enquiries around the City and discovered a cannabis factory containing drugs with an estimated street value of £250,000.
“Cannabis Factories such as this cause huge amounts of damage to the properties they convert and the risk to nearby homes is substantial given the massive amount of electricity being pushed through the property’s wiring systems (and not paid for – pushing up your electricity bills).
“The risk of fire at these locations is extreme as was shown in Bessbrook last week.
“If you have concerns re any properties in your area or near to your home you can contact the Police on 101 or report concerns anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
