A van was smashed into and tools stolen in broad daylight at some point on Monday.
Police are appealing for information following the theft from a parked van. The incident occurred in the Forkhill Road area of Newry sometime between 7am and 5.30pm on Monday, November 14.
A van window was smashed and a number of tools, including a skill saw, a chop saw and a router were taken.
Constable Chris Wolfe said: “I would ask anyone with any information about this incident to contact Newtownhamilton Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 1009 of 14/11/16.
“Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
