There have been 16 further Covid-related deaths reported in Northern Ireland since Friday – three in the past 24 hours.
The total number of deaths now stands at 2,843.
The ABC Borough accounts for 387 – up three – fatalities. There have been 212 – up one – in the NMD district, while Mid Ulster accounts for 264 – up one.
There have been a further 1,469 positive cases recorded in the last 24 hours, according to the Department of Health’s latest daily dashboard update. There have been 11,930 in the last seven days.
There were 153 positive cases in Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon – the second highest in NI. There were 118 cases in Newry, Mourne and Down while Mid-Ulster recorded 124. Belfast – the highest in NI – recorded 274 positive cases.
There are 378 patients in hospitals across Northern Ireland as a result of the virus, 36 of whom are in intensive care units.
Currently, there are 129 Covid patients in the Southern Trust area, 97 of whom are in Craigavon Area Hospital.
There are 15 ICU beds available across Northern Ireland.
Hospital occupancy in Northern Ireland currently stands at 103%.
Meanwhile, the Northern Ireland Executive is today meeting to discuss proposals to help curb the spread of Covid-19 in Northern Ireland.

The Executive has already agreed to put in place proof of Covid status, which will become enforceable from December 13.
This means people across NI will have to provide proof of vaccination, or negative test against Covid-19, to access nightclubs, pubs, cinemas, theatres and restaurants.
