A Portadown with an “extensive record” will have to wait until next month to learn his fate on charges which include receiving stolen goods.
The case had originally been set for a contest but the 28-year-old entered guilty pleas to the charges.
Daniel Martin Carroll, of Edward Street, pleaded guilty to possession of class C, interference with vehicle and receiving stolen goods at Craigavon Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
It was heard that on June 29, of 2018, dishonestly received the key ring of a Ford Transit Van, hat and gloves, knowing or believing them to be stolen goods.
The drugs charge referred to Carroll being found in possession of diazepam on the same date.
District Judge John Meehan commented: “This looks like a case for a pre-sentence report, he has an extensive record”.
When asked about the Carroll’s address, defence counsel informed court that the defendant currently resided in Maghaberry.
The case was adjourned to October 23 for sentencing.
