The recovery of a young person’s body from the River Bann in Portadown on Saturday is not being treated as suspicious.
Police confirmed that there are is no active criminal investigation following the incident on Bridge Street yesterday morning.
An area of the river walk had been cordoned off for a number of hours while emergency crews dealt with the tragic incident.
While details of the deceased have not been released at this stage it is understood to have been a young female.
There are no further details at this stage.
