HCL is struggling to fill in the region of 75 posts at its call centres in Armagh and Belfast.
The positions, in the financial call service sector, include team leaders and junior management posts.
With salaries starting at £12,500 and rising considerably depending on the position applied for, the company is at a loss to understand why the vacancies remain.
HCL in Armagh is based at Edenaveys, in the Newry Road area of the city.
The Indian-owned company announced plans to close its Armagh site in February 2012, with the loss of 170 jobs.
But Armagh I later revealed its plans to reopen with the creation, initially it had been hoped, of 50 positions.
Now these jobs are unfilled in both Armagh and Belfast.
HCL’s Northern Ireland client director, Mike McGuckin, says he is concerned that, if people cannot be employed and the company is unable to meet the demands of the customers, there will be a serious impact on business.

He told the Irish News: “I simply can’t understand why we should be struggling to recruit at this time. The work is on a contract with a major financial services client whom we’ve had a relationship for five years.
“Yes, this company has had retrenchment in the past. But we’ve quietly and effectively built the business up again, with 200 staff in Armagh and 140 in Belfast, and these vacancies – both full-time and part-time – have arisen in our banking customer service centre with a client with whom we’ve enjoys a long and fruitful relationship.”
