First came the lorries and now it’s the turn of the tractors!
The Skip Car Tour’s amazing fundraising efforts continue today when the Tractor Run leaves from Basil Sheils at Tassagh at 4pm.
Yesterday the city and district was treated to a spectacular sight of a procession of trucks passing through in a blaze of colour, sound and lights!
Today tractors will be the order of the day. The procession will be headed up by vintage tractors and then all manner and makes of tractor will follow.
The park at Basil Sheils will open at 3pm and the tractor run gets underway at 4pm.
There will be music in the park with Marty Mone ‘Hit the Diff’, who went down a storm at Balmoral Show.
In the evening, from 5.30pm to 8pm, there will be more like music in the marquee with Gary Keenan.
The event, which is sponsored by SG Curry Ltd, will be raising funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care and Southern Area Hospice Services.
