A number of bins were deliberately set on fire in the Tandragee area last night (Saturday).
Police have appealed for information in what appears to be the latest in a worrying trend involving vandalism of wheelie bins in the area.
Earlier this month, Armagh I reported that motorists were being put at risk, after another night where bins and other obstacles were placed on local roads.
The practice of dragging wheelie bins onto roads is now becoming a frequent happening – especially in the Tandragee and Markethill areas.
There have been reports of similar incidents in the Keady area.
It was the third night of this type of activity on local roads in less than a week.
UUP Assemblyman Danny Kennedy called the incident is Tandragee last night “disgraceful” and urged people to help police find the culprits.
On Friday night, a large fire was deliberately started in quarry behind Limestone Square on the Rock Road in Armagh and a car was set ablaze in Gilford.
