A large number of police teams and crime scene investigators descended on a property in Tandragee on Wednesday evening.
The house on Market Street was searched and a number of items seized as part of an “on-going” police investigation.
Details on the operation remain scarce but the PSNI confirmed they carried out a search of the property yesterday evening.
It is understood there were a number of people inside the property at the time but it is unclear whether any arrests were made.
Commenting, Newry and Armagh DUP Assemblyman William Irwin stated: “I have spoken to Police locally today and I thank them for their efforts in this incident and I trust that those individuals found in the property get the assistance they require.
“I understand police and support agencies are continuing their inquiries and I trust that investigations can be concluded successfully in these concerning circumstances.”
