Police in Newtownhamilton are appealing for help after two incidents where cars were targeted by thieves earlier this week.
On Monday, a vehicle from stolen from the Ferryhill Road at around 5.30am. Entry was forced to a house and vehicle keys, a wallet and cash taken.
The blue Toyota Landcruiser was subsequently stolen from outside the property. It was later found at around 10.20am in Malachy Conlon Park, Cullaville.
Constable Tom Nugent said: “We would like to hear from anyone who has information in relation to the burglary and theft of the Landcruiser. We can be contacted in Newtownhamilton on 101, quoting ref: 170 021115.”
They are also appealing for information following the theft of items from a car on Chapel Road, Meigh.
Sometime overnight between Sunday, November 1 and Monday, November 2, a blue Volkswagen Tiguan was entered and driving licence and bank cards stolen.
Constable Tom Nugent said: “We would like to hear from anyone who has information in relation to this incident. We can be contacted on 101, quoting ref: 238 021115.”

Sinn Féin councillor Liz Kimmins, meanwhile, has urged people to be vigilant.
“I would urge people to take all possible precautions when it comes to safeguarding their property and would also ask them to look out for friends and neighbours, particularly those who may be more vulnerable to these crimes,” she said.
“These criminals have no respect for people or property. They are getting ever more audacious and we won’t stop them with individuals looking out for themselves, the only way to defeat them is for communities to look out for each other.”
