Detectives from PSNI’s Organised Crime Branch have charged two men, aged 23 and 31, with a total of 50 offences relating to labour exploitation.
The charges relate to the rescue of 20 potential Romanian victims of suspected human trafficking at locations in Co Armagh.
The two men are facing 12 charges each of human trafficking and 12 of forced labour, and acting as an unlicensed gangmaster.
One of them is also charged with money laundering.
They are due to appear before Lisburn Magistrates’ Court later this morning (Tuesday), where, as is normal procedure, the charges will be reviewed.
