AN appeal for information has been issued after large pieces of ice fell from a lorry and shattered the windscreen of a car travelling behind.
Police say the incident happened at around 7am this morning (Tuesday) as a beige Toyota Previa was bring driven along the Lislasley Road, in the direction of the Moy Road.
It was travelling behind a white Scania articulated curtain-sided lorry, when large pieces of sheet ice fell from the lorry’s roof and struck the car, shattering the windscreen.
The lorry continued on to the junction of the Lislasley and Moy Roads, where it turned left in the direction of Armagh.
Police are appealing to the driver of the lorry or anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them in Armagh on 0845 600 8000.
