Murphy, (Newry) December 19, 2023, (peacefully) surrounded by his loving family, formerly of Blaney Crescent. Eddie, beloved partner of Sandra, devoted step-father to Colm, Bridgeen, Christine, Sandra, Louise, Padraig and Piarias, devoted son of the late Mary and James R.I.P. and treasured brother to Nancy, Margaret, Kitty, Goretti, Bernie, Jim, Thomas, Veronica, May, Geraldine, Banto and the late Pat, Eileen and Maureen R.I.P.
His remains will repose in Paul McEvoy’s Funeral Home, 80 Canal Street, Newry, BT35 6DX, Wednesday from 6pm until 8pm and Thursday from 2pm until 4pm and 6pm until 8pm. Requiem Mass for Eddie will be celebrated on Friday at 10.30am in S.S. Patrick & Colman’s Cathedral, burial afterwards in Monkshill cemetery.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his partner, step-children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and the entire family circle.
