CRAIGAVON Cowboys ran a flag football session with the boys of St. Marys YC from Portadown in Windy Ridge Farm indoor facility last night (Thursday).
Boys of all ages came along to learn a new sport and their enthusiasm and passion to learn rubbed off on the Cowboys coaches in attendance.
“The boys where an absolute joy, their excitment and willingness to learn was really a joy to see and they boys where thrilled to be learning a sport that they see on television,” said Mark Beattie, Cowboys PRLO.
“We would like to thank Ryan and the rest of St. Marys YC for the opportunity to display our sport to their group and hope to work with them again.”
He continued: “Cowboys are always willing to get involved with our community and are keen immerse ourselves into the fabric of our local area. We really enjoy being able to work with youth groups and all communtiy groups to teach kids and adults a new skill and sport that they might not get to see or play everyday.”
