Redrock’s Jordan Burrows happy with first race

Young Redrock motorcyclist Jordan Burrows has got his season off to a flying start.

The teenager travelled to Mondello Park at the weekend and picked up a third and a second place on his first outing of the year.

Jordan has also secured Warde Groupage lorry company as his main sponsor for 2015 and is looking forward to the season ahead.

He told Armagh I: “It was a wet start on Saturday as we took a test day to get to learn the new bike Kawaski 250, however the day dried up and I got a few dry laps of the track.

“I was happy with how everything went but knew I had still a lot to learn. jordan burrows

“Sunday morning came and the nerves were getting to me. The rain was lashing out of the clouds as we changed the tyres to the wets for qualifying.

“Qualifying we had a small issue with the front wheel but got it sorted out for the races.

“It’s a great start to the new year for us.”

Jordan finished as follows: Qualifying 5th Race 1 – 3rd Race 2 – 2nd.
