Sunday September 3, will kick off the Stanley Allardyce Snr Memorial charity football tournament at Edenvilla Multi-Sports Complex, Portadown.
The five-a-side football tournament will be played in group stages in the format of a round robin with the top two teams progressing to the knockout stages. Each team must have a maximum of six players (one substitute) incase of injury or illness.
Each match will play for 10 minutes and all players should be aged 12 years and over. All players are politely asked to wear trainers, and not football boots, as the pitch has an Astroturf surface.
Throughout the fun day kids can also enjoy entertainment in the form of a bouncy castle and face painting alongside an ice cream van. Hot food will be provided by way of BBQ (weather dependent).
Organisers have also arranged a raffle on the day with plenty of prizes and awards for the winning teams.
All proceeds from the day will be donated to Cancer Research UK.
